Start with the Android companion
Understand the companion, sponsor website and resident messaging channel.
The Android app checks the public Outside Access service status and opens the sponsor website in your system browser. It does not log in to Securus, read resident messages or process payments on your phone.
Open sponsor account to sign in to the Outside Access website. Use only a sponsor account and resident association you are authorized to manage. Your Outside Access account is separate from your Securus account.
This help center and its full privacy and terms are bundled with the Android app and can be read without a connection. Service checks, sponsor accounts, credit purchases and message delivery require online services.
Outside Access is an independent service, not the Securus application and not endorsed by Securus Technologies. Facility support, contact approval and delivery availability must be checked for the intended resident.
